La Perla del Norte

La Perla del Norte is an homage to the soul of BÁRZAGA: Cárdenas, the city of my youth, known as The Pearl of the North.  The crabs, framed like relics, are more than motifs, they are apotropaic metaphors, guardians that protect my origin, memory, and identity. This scarf is more than a piece, it is a personal geography, where the crab becomes both emblem and amulet. It symbolizes a legacy that protects both the past and the road ahead.
